Dance has always been an important part of my life and I enjoy passing on my knowledge to my students.

‘Dare to Dance is where I have learnt one valuable thing in life; Dancing with the feet is one thing, but dancing with the heart is another. In the beginning dance was simply all about discipline, which quickly turned into an overwhelming sense of enjoyment and an increase in my confidence. Dance is something I still love and will always love to do. I can’t decide whether it is the thrill of performing in the end of year concert, or the look on Miss Michele’s face when I either do something right or wrong that inspires me. Either way, I still leave class or rehearsals knowing I have given my all. It takes determination, courage and passion to carry on dancing. With nearly 10 wonderful years at Dare to Dance, I still see these three things Miss Michele exhibits each and every year, which is plainly instilled in her students. Dare to Dance isn’t just a school – it is a home for many people young and old that continue to dance their hearts out every year. Although the number of students may only be small, the love of dance and for each other is enormous. Thank you Miss Michele for giving us a home away from home; with enough love, courage and passion to last a lifetime.’ Christie
